## 🔒 Lock or Unlock a Table

Lock unused tables on the **POS** floor so cashiers cannot open them by mistake.

### 📝 Steps
1. On **POS**, tap the chevron at the bottom-right of the floor plan to expand the table toolbar
2. Tap the **lock** button so it stays highlighted
3. On an empty table, tap the lock circle to lock it — the table turns grey and shows **LOCKED**
4. Tap the same circle again (refresh icon) to unlock
5. Tap the **lock** toolbar button again to leave lock mode, then open tables as usual

> **💡 Tip:** A locked empty table cannot be opened — the POS shows **Table is locked**. A locked table that already has an order can still be entered. Lock handles appear only on empty tables.
