## ⭐ Redeem Member Points

Members redeem points through products set with a **Minus Point** value — there is no points button at checkout.

### 📝 Steps

There is no **Top-up** or **Use Points** control at checkout. Points and stored balance only move through specific products:

- To redeem points, add a product configured with a **Minus Point** value to the order; checkout is blocked with "Customer has insufficient points for this order" if the member does not have enough
- To top up a member's stored balance, sell a product configured with **Add Credit** — see **Sell a Top-up Product**
- To pay with a member's stored balance, use the **Balance** payment method in the Pay panel — see **Pay with Member Stored Credit**

> **💡 Tip:** Reward Point Rate and Reward Credit Rate are both set together in **SETTINGS** → **General Settings** → **Loyalty Program**.
