📋 Managing Order Lines

This guide covers all line-level operations: copy, delete, merge, split, and transfer items between tables.

📋 Copy Order Line

1. Open the order and select the line
2. In the item editor / actions, tap Duplicate
3. A new line is created with the same product options

💡 Tip: The button is Duplicate, not "Copy".

🗑️ Delete an Order Item

1. Open the order and select the line
2. Tap the Delete / trash icon
3. Confirm the deletion

💡 Tip: Deleting an item is reversible before the order is sent to kitchen.

🔗 Merge Order Lines

1. Open the order with multiple lines of the same product
2. Select one of the duplicate lines
3. Tap Merge — quantities combine into one line

💡 Tip: Useful for consolidating separate additions of the same item.

✂️ Split Order Line

There is no Split button or "split off N items" dialog. Instead:

1. Duplicate the line first
2. Edit quantities on each line manually

💡 Tip: For splitting bills, use Split Payment at checkout instead.

🔄 Transfer Item to Another Table

1. Open the source table's order
2. Select the item to transfer
3. Tap Transfer and select the destination table
4. The item moves to the other table's order

💡 Tip: The destination table must already be open.
