⭐ Member Points: Earning & Redemption
Manage your loyalty program with automatic point earning and product-based redemption.
📈 Earning Points
- Automatic: every paid order earns points based on your outlet's Reward Point Rate (e.g. 1.0 = 1 point per dollar spent)
- Bonus: any product with an Add Point value awards that many extra points whenever it is purchased — see Product Loyalty, Credit & Exemption Settings
- Configure the rate in SETTINGS → General Settings → Loyalty Program
- Members see Earned Points and Rewarded Points on the receipt after each transaction
🎁 Redeeming Points & Balance
There is no Top-up or Use Points control at checkout. Points and stored balance only move through specific products:
- To redeem points, add a product configured with a Minus Point value to the order; checkout is blocked with "Customer has insufficient points for this order" if the member does not have enough
- To top up a member's stored balance, sell a product configured with Add Credit — see Sell a Top-up Product
- To pay with a member's stored balance, use the Balance payment method in the Pay panel — see Pay with Member Stored Credit
💡 Tip: Reward Point Rate and Reward Credit Rate are both set together in SETTINGS → General Settings → Loyalty Program.
