Let Cashiers Add a Custom Modifier
โ Let Cashiers Add a Custom Modifier Turn on Allow Custom Modifier on a modifier group so cashiers can add a one-off modifier with its own name and price at POS. ๐ Turn on the setting 1. Go to MANAGEMENT โ Product โ Item, open a product, then tap the pencil icon on one of its modifier groups (or Add Modifier Group to create one). 2. Turn on Allow Custom Modifier โ "Allow POS to add custom modifier with name and price". 3. Confirm with the green Done check. ๐ Use it at POS 1. Open that item's modifier group on an order line; a dashed + tile appears after the last modifier. 2. Tap it, enter a Name (Optional) and a Price, then Confirm โ disabled until the price is above zero. ๐ก Tip: The custom modifier only applies to this order line, not to the product's modifier group โ it won't appear again on the next order. See Add an Item With Modifiers, Combo Choices or an Open Price for the full cashier-side flow.
Edit, Delete and Price Modifier and Combo Groups
๐ฑ Edit, Delete and Price Modifier and Combo Groups Edit every field on an existing modifier or combo item, delete a group or a single option, and link prices between modifiers. ๐ Edit or delete a modifier 1. Go to Management โ Product โ Item, open the product, then tap the pencil icon on a modifier row or on the group itself. 2. On a modifier, set Modifier Name, Modifier Image, Price, Price Lookup Key, Stock, SKU, PLU, Sequence and Recipe, then tap the green Done check. 3. Toggle the switch on the modifier row to mark it sold out or available โ right there in the product editor, no extra dialog. 4. Tap Delete Modifier inside the modifier dialog, or Delete Modifier Group inside the group dialog, then confirm. ๐ Edit or delete a combo 1. In the same editor, a Combo-type product shows Combo Group and Combo Item instead of modifiers. 2. Tap the pencil on a combo item to set its Additional Price and Visibility (its sold-out toggle). Tap Delete Combo Group, or the trash icon on a combo item, then confirm. ๐ก Tip: Give two modifiers the same Price Lookup Key and selecting one on the POS switches every sibling that has a matching price tier to that price automatically.
