💳 Take Card, PayNow and Alipay/WeChat Payments on the Terminal
Tap a payment method linked to your terminal and follow the on-screen prompts for card, PayNow or Alipay/WeChat payments.
📝 Steps
- On the Pay screen, tap the card, PayNow or Alipay/WeChat method that is set up for your payment terminal.
- For a card terminal payment, the Card Payment dialog opens and shows "Please follow the instructions on the pinpad display to complete payment." Wait for the terminal to finish.
- For PayNow, the Payment Processor dialog shows "Contacting Payment Gateway...", then a QR code with "Awaiting Payment Confirmation...". If it shows "Paynow Server is busy, Waiting...", POS retries on its own.
- For Alipay/WeChat on the terminal, the Card Payment dialog opens and shows "Please ask customer to open Alipay / WeChat and scan the QR code on the terminal."
- When payment succeeds, the dialog shows "PAYMENT SUCCESSFUL" and closes itself after a short countdown, or tap Confirm.
- If payment fails, the dialog shows "PAYMENT FAILED" and "Please Check and Try Again"; tap Retry to try again.
💡 Tip: The Card Payment dialog is shared by the pinpad flow and the Alipay/WeChat scan flow — check the on-screen message to see which one is running. Only PayNow and Alipay/WeChat show a Cancel button while waiting. The success countdown length is set in Settings → Pos → General Settings → Payment → Payment Popup Countdown.
