🖥️ How Guests Order at the Self-Order Kiosk
Know what a guest sees at your self-order kiosk, and which settings control payment, pickup numbers and the home screen.
📝 The guest's journey
- The guest starts on the kiosk home screen, which shows your Home Page Images carousel; unless Takeaway Only is on, they first choose dine-in or takeaway.
- They browse the menu under your Menu Banner Image, add items, and check out.
- At payment they see whichever methods you have not disabled: Disable Paynow Payment, Disable Card Payment, Disable WeChat Payment, and Disable Alipay Payment each remove one option. If Enable Pay At Counter is on, they can pick Pay At Counter and get a ticket without paying at the kiosk.
- For a takeout order, if you set a Takeout Call Number Prefix, the kiosk asks the guest for a 2-digit number before payment; the pickup number becomes prefix-digits.
- Unless Disable Counter Receipt Printer is on, the order also prints from your counter receipt printer.
💡 Tip: A Pay At Counter kiosk order appears in MANAGEMENT → Invoices with its pickup number in the Receipt No. column — see Pay at Counter for Online Orders to collect it. Configure all of this under SETTINGS → General Settings → Kiosk.
