📱 How Guests Order by Scanning the Table QR
Know what a guest sees after scanning your table QR, and which settings shape that journey.
📝 The guest's journey
- The guest scans the QR code you printed for that table (staff generate it from Function → Order QR-code).
- If Allow Menu Selection is on (SETTINGS → General Settings → Online Order → Dynamic Order QR), the guest picks a menu; otherwise they see the menu you chose when printing the QR.
- If Allow Order Flow Selection is on, the guest picks Order & Pay Later or Pay to Order; otherwise everyone follows your Default Order Flow.
- At checkout the guest can tap Pay at Counter unless you turned on Disable Pay at Counter, or Verify at Counter unless you turned on Disable Verify at Counter.
- A Pay at Counter order lands in MANAGEMENT → Invoices with its pickup number shown in the Receipt No. column — see Pay at Counter for Online Orders to collect it.
💡 Tip: The QR link expires after Default Expiry Time (Minutes) under Dynamic Order QR; a menu's own Online Order QR Code Expiry (minutes) (MANAGEMENT → Product → Menu) overrides it. Maximum Dining Time caps how long the session stays open, and Disable Order Now When Closed hides ordering once you are outside your opening hours.
