🔔 Receive Incoming QR and Kiosk Orders

Hear new QR and kiosk tickets on the main POS and know whether to open the table, skip payment, or collect at the counter.

📝 Steps

  1. Work on the main device. To hear and see the alert, turn on SETTINGS → General Settings → Online Order → QR Order Voice Announcement.
  2. When a guest submits, the main device shows a toast and can speak New order, Table {label} or New order, Pickup number {call_num}.
  3. Order & Pay Later on a table: the table card updates. Open the table, check the lines, then Send or Pay as usual.
  4. Already paid (PayNow): the toast uses the pickup number. Do not collect again — a receipt can print on the POS.
  5. Pay At Counter (unpaid pickup): the toast uses the pickup number. The ticket is not on a real table. Collect it from MANAGEMENT → Invoices.
  6. If nothing is announced: confirm this is the main device, QR Order Voice Announcement is on, scan-to-order is set up, and the store is not closed with Disable Order Now When Closed.

💡 Tip: Toast and voice share the same switch and run only on the main device. The table card can still update when you hear nothing. The same ticket is not announced again for 30 seconds.
