Use the Report Viewer

πŸ“ˆ Use the Report Viewer On the web app, open any named report, then follow this walkthrough to set the date range and to print, export, or email the result from the viewer toolbar. πŸ“ Steps 1. On the web app, open the sidebar REPORTING. This menu is not on the native POS β€” to print a thermal report from a POS/tablet, use MANAGEMENT β†’ Report instead. 2. Choose Report Category, then choose Report Name. Picking a category auto-selects its first report. You only see categories and reports your account is allowed to view. 3. Click the Start Time field to open the picker. 4. Pick the date from the calendar. 5. Pick a time from the 30-minute list, or type the value directly as yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm. 6. Click the End Time field and set it the same way β€” calendar for the date, 30-minute list or yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm for the time. The default range is today 00:00 through 23:59. 7. Wait for the preview to refresh. If it does not update on its own, click the toolbar Refresh button. 8. To download a PDF, click Export on the toolbar and choose PDF. 9. To download an Excel file, click Export again and choose XLSX (Excel) instead. Your browser's download bar shows the finished file. 10. To print, click Print on the toolbar to open the print preview / browser print dialog. 11. To email the report, click Send Email. Fill in To with the recipient, optionally add CC, leave From as the pre-filled [email protected], check Subject (pre-filled as {company name}-{report name}), pick Format (PDF or XLSX), then click Send. 12. If To is empty or not a valid address, the dialog shows "Email field is required" or "Email format is not valid" β€” fix it and click Send again. 13. If a required parameter is empty, the app shows "Please fill in all required parameters before generating the report" β€” fill in both Start Time and End Time, then try again. 14. Watch for these notifications: "Report expired, refreshing..." means the session is auto-refreshing, just wait; "Report server unavailable, please try again later" or "Network error, please check your connection and try again" mean you should wait and retry; "Report failed to load, please reopen this page" means close and reopen the page. πŸ’‘ Tip: REPORTING is web only. Do not look for this menu on the native POS. If a session expires, let the auto-refresh finish instead of closing the page. Need on-screen charts with no file? Use ANALYTICS β€” that dashboard does not export. 🎬 Video Guide Watch Demo Video

Sales Reports (Daily, Weekly, Payment & More)

πŸ“ˆ Sales Reports (Daily, Weekly, Payment & More) Pick the right Sales Report or Stock Report for end-of-day totals, a week rollup, tender recon, turnover, discounts, or popular items β€” then export it in the Report Viewer. Before you run this report: the date range is two combined date-and-time fields, Start Time and End Time (default today 00:00–23:59, format yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm). Export (PDF / XLSX), Print, and Send Email are all on the viewer toolbar β€” see Use the Report Viewer for click-by-click steps. πŸ“ Steps 1. On the web app, open sidebar REPORTING (not on the native POS). How to print, export PDF/Excel, or email is in Use the Report Viewer. 2. Set Report Category to Sales Report (or Stock Reports for Fast Moving Items Report β€” see below). 3. Set Report Name to the report that matches your question (names below). 4. Set the combined Start Time and End Time fields (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm), then wait for the preview. 5. Use the viewer toolbar to print, export PDF / Excel, or email. When to pick which report (all under Report Category β†’ Sales Report): | Open this report | When you need | |---|---| | Daily Sales Report | End-of-day totals for a chosen date range | | Weekly Sales Summary Report | A week rollup | | Sales by Payment | Tender / settlement recon by payment method | | Turnover Statement Report | A turnover statement | | Discount Summary Report | Discount amounts and counts | Monthly Sales Summary Report is a separate guide (Monthly Sales Summary). It uses this same viewer and the same Start Time / End Time fields β€” this article does not replace it. Looking for popular / fast-moving items? Fast Moving Items Report is not a Sales Report β€” set Report Category to Stock Reports instead, then pick it as the Report Name. It uses the same viewer and the same Start Time / End Time fields. πŸ’‘ Tip: All Sales Report reports share one viewer. Change Report Name; do not look for a different menu per report. The ANALYTICS card Monthly Sales is on-screen daily bars for one month and cannot export β€” the printable month rollup is Monthly Sales Summary Report under REPORTING.

Modifier Sales Reports

πŸ“ˆ Modifier Sales Reports See how modifiers sold β€” rolled up under the parent item, or modifier-only β€” then print or export from the same Report Viewer. Print, PDF/Excel, and email steps are in Use the Report Viewer. 2. Set Report Category to Sales Report. 3. Set Report Name to Modifier By Item Sales Report or Modifier Report. 4. Set the combined Start Time and End Time fields (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm), then wait for the preview. 5. Use the viewer toolbar to print, export PDF / Excel, or email. When to pick which report: | Open this report | When you need | |---|---| | Modifier By Item Sales Report | Modifiers grouped under the parent item | | Modifier Report | Modifier-only sales (no parent-item rollup) | Item Sales Report (quantity, sold price, subtotal by item/category) is a separate guide. It uses this same viewer and is not replaced by the two modifier reports. πŸ’‘ Tip: Modifier sales are not a different workflow β€” same Report Category, same dates, different Report Name. If you only need item totals without modifiers, stay on Item Sales Report.

Invoice Report

🧾 Invoice Report Run a receipt-level list of paid invoices for a date range so you can look up tickets and reconcile sales without opening each bill on the POS. On web, open REPORTING in the sidebar. The native POS app does not show this menu. 2. Set Report Category to Sales Report. 3. Set Report Name to Invoice Report. 4. Set the combined Start Time and End Time fields (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm, 30-minute steps). The preview defaults to today 00:00 through 23:59. 5. Use the list to match receipt numbers, totals, and tenders for the period. 6. Print, export PDF or Excel, or email from the viewer toolbar. πŸ’‘ Tip: MANAGEMENT β†’ Invoices is the live operational list (search, void, reprint, change payment). It is not this report. Use Invoice Report when you need a dated receipt file you can export.

Void and Deletion Reports

πŸ—‘οΈ Void and Deletion Reports Audit voided bills and receipts that had items removed β€” a paper trail after the floor action, not a second void button. On web, open REPORTING in the sidebar. The native POS app does not show this menu. 2. Set Report Category to Voiding and Deletion Reports. 3. To review cancelled bills, set Report Name to Voided Invoice Report. 4. To review receipts that still exist but had lines taken off, set Report Name to Receipt Listings With Deleted Items. 5. Set the combined Start Time and End Time fields (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm), then wait for the preview. 6. Print, export PDF or Excel, or email from the viewer toolbar. πŸ’‘ Tip: These reports do not void or delete anything. Void a live bill from the POS; come here afterwards for the audit list. Do not use MANAGEMENT β†’ Invoices as a period void report.

General Inventory Report

πŸ“¦ General Inventory Report Export a stock snapshot for stock-take. This is not the screen you use to restock or mark items sold out. On web, open REPORTING in the sidebar. The native POS app does not show this menu. 2. Set Report Category to Stock Reports. 3. Set Report Name to General Inventory Report. 4. Set the combined Start Time and End Time fields (yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm) if the viewer asks for them, then wait for the preview. 5. Use the snapshot to count on-hand quantity and see which items are available versus sold out. 6. Print, export PDF or Excel, or email from the viewer toolbar. πŸ’‘ Tip: To add stock, run Stock Adjust, or toggle Sold Out / Available, open MANAGEMENT β†’ Inventory. This report does not change stock levels.

Print Reports to the Receipt Printer

πŸ–¨οΈ Print Reports to the Receipt Printer Print a store report on the thermal receipt printer from the POS. This screen does not make a PDF. πŸ“ Steps 1. Open MANAGEMENT and tap the Report tab. This is not the REPORTING menu. 2. Choose a Category, then Select Report. Names follow your store’s list (commonly Sales Report, Shift Report, Product Report, Category Report). 3. Set the start and end with Pick a day (date and time). 4. Tap Print Report. The slip prints on the receipt printer. 5. There is no PDF, Excel, or email on this tab. πŸ’‘ Tip: Native POS has no REPORTING sidebar β€” use this tab. The app remembers the last range for the current 3-hour time slot. Closing a shift can still auto-print Shift Report if that setting is on. For PDF, Excel, or email, use the web REPORTING viewer β€” see Use the Report Viewer. 🎬 Video Guide Watch Demo Video
